Dr. Nabih Pico is a research professor at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea, specializing in robot design, mobile robotics, AI, and autonomous navigation.
He earned a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from SKKU in 2022. He has led multiple research projects at SKKU in collaboration with industry partners. With HD Hyundai Robotics, he worked on an AI-driven perception system to improve obstacle avoidance and autonomous navigation based on reinforcement learning. At COGA Robotics, his project focused on enhancing indoor robot mobility, leading to a patented suspension system. He also collaborated with VESTEK, leading the LINC 3.0 project, which involved developing a 250 kg robot prototype for industrial environments capable of climbing slopes and stairs.
