We are researching to optimize the path of a laser drilling machine for a flexible printed circuit board. To reduce processing time, we should find the shortest path and minimize the moving of the stage. UV Laser machine uses a galvano-scanner that forms a specific processing range. Because of the difference between stage and galvano-scanner speed, it is important to find an area with processing points as many as possible. We analyze the distribution of processing points and find out the relationship between points. Finally, we generate the optimal path using this information.
